Overview

Fleet Planner is a cloud-based, long-range aviation maintenance planning solution designed to help airline operators optimize maintenance schedules, resource utilization, and aircraft availability. The product supports strategic planning across fleets and is used by some of the largest airline operators globally.

My involvement with Fleet Planner spanned three distinct phases from 2020 to 2022, reflecting a clear career progression from Software Engineer → Senior Software Engineer → Lead Software Engineer, alongside increasing technical and leadership responsibility.

Architecture

Modern, cloud-native aviation planning platform with strong integration and scalability requirements:

  • Frontend: Angular-based web application
  • Data Layer: Relational databases supporting planning and forecasting
